Taking 3D to the VIP Lounge

Is it just me or does this look like spring break for adults?!  It does exist, and it’s at the Hotel Valley Ho.  Last week we sampled 3D to the glistening pool guests.  Only this time, we did it with a little kick…or eh, spike.  That’s right.  We spiked the 3D and made some cocktails!  Our favorite of the day?  The 3D Midori Sour drink made with our apple flavor.  It just took the party to a whole new level.

Back in June the 3D Team decided to have a little contest among our sales reps in Arizona. We wanted to see who could sell the most cases of 3D in their territory. Each division was given one month to spread the word about our fabulous antioxidant-rich tea in hopes of placing 3D in as many stores as possible. The Tucson team did just that!

On Friday, Alicia, our Arizona sales rep, and I went to Golden Eagle Distributors in Tucson to present the new ipad to the winning contestant. We couldn’t just hand him the ipad though. We brought noisemakers, poppers, banners, balloons, breakfast, and event had Queen’s “We Are the Champions” playing in the background. So who was the winner? It was Mark Lee, a very talkative and outgoing sales rep in Tucson. Mark was awarded the ipad and named the highest achieving salesman for the month.

Hours after the presentation, I walked into a Circle K to buy some gas for the 3D car. As I was checking out, I heard the sound of a noisemaker coming from the entrance. It was Mr. Mark Lee! He still had his noisemaker in his mouth and was tootin’ his horn!! Now that’s the kind of enthusiasm we love! Congratulations Mark! Thanks for believing in 3D as much as we do!

Fourth of July With Phil!

What better way to start out the Fourth of July than with a fabulous parade? The 3D Team returned to the Royal Palm Fourth of July Parade this year, handing out cans of 3D. The kids decorated their bikes, enjoyed some burgers and popsicles, and strutted their stuff along the parade route.

4th2

Our mayor, Phil Gordon, joined us again, and look what we found in his hand – a Mango 3D! He probably could have picked a Blueberry or Pomegranate 3D to keep things festive, but we’ll let that one slide. After all, Mango is my favorite flavor too!

3D Officially Launches in Bashas’

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Bashas

It has been a very exciting month for 3D Tea! The month of June marked the launch of 3D Tea in Bashas’. The local, family-owned stores now sell Pomegranate, Mango, Blueberry, and Apple 3D. Plus, they’re on sale – 10 cans for $10!! That’s a dollar a can!

Most Bashas’ stores have 3D in their Natural Section, but some have additional spots for 3D in their soda and tea aisles or on end caps in the front of the store.

Wondering if your Bashas’ has a Natural Section? Call our customer service to find out: 1-877-37-REV3D.

Bringing the Heat to Arizona

Tucson2

The 3D team spent a week in Arizona, and things really started heating up! We had a team building dinner the first night in Phoenix and enjoyed a delicious meal. Along with dinner, we served up some laughs as team members revealed their “about me” items and learned fun facts about their coworkers. It turns out Paul is an avid outdoorsman, and Jenna was a speech champion in high school.

The next day was spent at the Revolution corporate office. The team learned new software, held training sessions, and reviewed materials to gear up for the Tucson Market Blitz with Spike Beverage.

Tucson1

The Tucson Blitz was a high energy, fight to the finish, with teams scattering all over the city to introduce 3D to new clients. We visited over 75 stores and opened accounts left and right. The team arrived back at the hotel exhausted, but with a sense of accomplishment. 3D is sure to be the hottest item on the shelves and Tucson’s choice beverage of the summer!!

Swing. Camp. March.

SwingCamp1

It was a busy weekend for the 3D Team!! Kevin and I started out at the Kids Cafe Open with St. Mary’s Food Bank. We posted up by the cocktails, and sure enough, in no-time golfers started making their own 3D concoctions. The most popular cocktail was 3D Mango and Hammer Vodka. No judgment here! We’re all about finding new and creative ways to drink 3D. (Personally, I’ll throw a splash of 3D Mango in my frozen fruit shakes instead of water.)

SwingCamp2

Afterwards, Jason and Kelsey grabbed the 3D gear and headed on over to the Relay for Life Walk in Gilbert, AZ. Since 3D Pink Grapefruit donates proceeds to The American Cancer Society, we thought we’d show some love for the campers who decided to donate 24 hours walking for the cause.

On Saturday, we were marching our way across the streets at PRIDE. Well, we probably weren’t really “marching,” but it was really hot and the guests were thrilled to have a cold drink to cool them down.  Hey, if you’re thirsty, then we’re happy to hand ‘em out!

A Walk In The Park

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Liver_foundation_walk

The American Liver Foundation had their Liver Life Walk at Indian Steele Park, and the 3D Team was lucky enough to be the only beverage sampling at the event. On top of the gorgeous weather that day, participants received a complimentary 3D to cool their thirst. Since 1979, the Research Awards Program with the American Liver Foundation has provided more than $20.1 million for research, so the 3D Team is happy to support the organization any way we can!

White Tea for a White Party

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

What better place to showcase 3D and its white tea, fruit juices, and vitamins than the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s White Party?   Joe and I were really excited to hand out 3D until the downpour started.  A simple 3D sampling soon became a contest to see who could run the fastest through the rain without getting soaked.  Fortunately, the staff at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge let us move to a covered location, but the guests had to take their turn running in the rain, and they were all in white!!  We still managed to get our drinks into the hands of some important guests though, one of them being Mark Curtis from Channel 12 News.  He enjoyed his 3D while waiting for his turn to run in the rain.  Bottom line: come rain or shine, we’re going to keep handing out 3D!!

3D Supports Brain Tumor Research

Last weekend the Rev team headed over to ASU to show some love for the Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research. Students and supporters walked around the ASU campus in order to raise money for the organization, and when they came to the finish line, we were right there ready to hand them a cold 3D. The Phoenix Suns Gorilla and dancers even made an appearance. We think the gorilla had it out for the 3D team! Not only was he stealing cases, but he took it upon himself to start handing out cans from our barrels. I wonder how the gorilla would look in a 3D shirt? I can always use enthusiastic brand ambassadors!
