3D on the Green – Pro Players Golf Tourney

Monday, November 24th, 2008

On 11/22/08 Rev team leaders Sophia and JD along with myself (Victoria) got to work at the Pro player classic in Chandler. The Pro players classic was a golf tournament which included retired and current baseball, football, and basketball players. The classic was a charity event to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club. JD, Sophia and myself had a tent set up on the 3rd hole and got to watch some of the action while we passed out 3D. While working we got to chat with a few athletes while providing them and the rest of their groups with drinks. Everyone involved in the tournament loved 3D!!

After some of the golfers had some to drink, they went to t-off at the hole. After a few players went they had gone on to say “these super fruits must have really helped our game!” This event was a great time and I can’t wait to work another. The atmosphere was fun, and the players and kids from the boys and girls club all enjoyed the drink and were very appreciative. After the game Outback had provided lunch for the participants and everyone washed their food down with more 3D. I think it’s safe to say 3D was a hit!

Revolution Tea and 3D were honored to have been selected vendors for this year’s production. In the afternoon, a Tea Party for Breast Cancer survivors in the Revolution Tea cabana was held in the beautiful Rose Garden. Guests enjoyed the wonderful Revolution Tea collection and savor dainties expertly prepared by Chef Soerke Peters of Chef is Chef. 3D Drank it in, and so they did. Many of the guests that partook in the support of Cure in the Canyons festivities really took to this amazing creation from Revolution Tea.

The guests particularly enjoyed the refreshing light taste of the drink, with its floral palette and a light white tea zing, the vitamins added to the extraordinary quality of 3D. As guests were leaving they did not want to part with its incredible taste and flavor, they took a can for the road to savor on their way home. With limited availability aside from the Phoenix and San Francisco markets, Cure in the Canyons attendees were left eager to obtain the beverage for their cushy Los Angeles homes at an earliest possibility in all four delightful flavors: Mango, Green Apple, Pomegranate and Blueberry. On the Road with Hawthorne Heights

Monday, November 10th, 2008

My first event as one of the REV team leads was an eventful one. We were scheduled to attend and promote 3D at Martini Ranch, a club/bar in Old Town Scottsdale. Little did we know it would be far more exciting than just handing out our product to patrons coming and going…

That night a band by the name of Hawthorne Heights was performing. I personally had never heard of them, but Ryan (our Sales and Marketing Director) and Victoria (one of the REV team members) have followed them for quite some time. They are currently on a national tour, heading next to San Diego and then up the coast, so they are kind of a big deal.

As we were standing out front sampling 3D to all of the fans coming to watch the show, we noticed the tour buses parked behind the venue. We figured that since Hawthorne Heights wasn’t scheduled to go on stage for another hour that they were probably in the tour busses hanging out. Why not share the 3D love with them? I mean, Rockstars get thirsty too?

We stealthily headed around the corner and down the back alley where the busses were located and stopped in front of the tour bus doors. All of us were really nervous, whispering to one another in the faintest of voices. “Victoria, get up here so when I knock on the door and one of the members comes out to open it he sees your pretty face as opposed to one of our ugly mugs”, Ryan said. I thought to myself, good call Ry. Good call.

It was the moment of truth. Ryan knocked. Victoria took her place. All of a sudden….the door swung open and low and behold, it was the lead singer of the band. He greeted us enthusiastically, and it was smooth sailing from there. He asked us if we wanted to come onto the tour bus, and we did.

The bus was absolutely ridiculous! It was GIANT and loaded with all of the amenities of a fancy resort. I swear I must have seen about 10 flat screen plasma televisions. We passed out a TON of product to the band, telling them who we were and what 3D was all about. They absolutely LOVED the taste and thought it was def. a great product. As we were all hanging out talking and drinking 3D, one of the guys asked me if I wanted to get in on some Halo action. I thought, why the heck not? So I found myself hanging out, playing Halo, and drinking 3D on a massive tour bus with a famous band who absolutely loved our product. As it turns out, even rockstars can enjoy a healthy alternative beverage from time to time. What a night to share the 3D love…

3D in South Africa

Monday, November 10th, 2008

3D the multi dimensional beverage was found in a South African store that exclusively sells and serves 3D and Revolution. This contemporary and upbeat space is the perfect environment to enjoy the refreshing dimensions of 3D. As the locals would say, 3D is now in the “Mother City”. If you’re ever visiting look it up, 4 Long Street, Cape Town.

American Idol Auditions

Monday, November 10th, 2008

8 Weeks into the 3D product launch, the Rev Team and I got the chance to do a great sampling event at the American Idol auditions in Glendale, AZ. As usual the Rev Team rolled into the chaos with cold drinks for anyone and everyone! Armed with a truck load of 3D and plenty of ice, we figured the singers could use something cold while they were waiting in the 109 degree heat.

Throughout the day we saw and heard some amazing singers and we also heard some horrific ones. The team and I decided to have our own little American Idol while we were passing out drinks…it didn’t go so well. We decided to leave the singing to the people that knew how to. As the contestants started to file their way out of the auditions we noticed that there were some pretty bummed out people, so we made their day a better with some 3D!!!

As the day went on we decided to get a little creative and make these people work for their 3D, so we made them sing for a can. Some of the people were amazing!! How did they not make it to Hollywood!? Simon!

The one thing that did make us happy was that none of the people that came out sad were going to give up. Everyone knew that if they worked hard enough they could follow their dream. Just like all the employees at Revolution, we to can succeed at giving people a healthy alternative beverage. It’s going to take some sweat and long nights but we can do it. I would call our American Idol day a success. Well, I’m off to go sing…in the shower where I sound good!

3D Visits Arizona Schools

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

3D has invaded school campuses all over Phoenix, AZ. Today Arizona students enjoyed all of 3D’s refreshing health & taste benefits with their daily activities.

Arcadia, Chandler, Paradise Valley, Brophy and Xavier Arizona schools have all welcomed 3D onto campus. Everyone enjoyed the 3D refreshment while us Rev’s had a blast participating in local Arizona school events and activities!

Football players enjoyed 3D while we hung out with the squad before their grueling practice. A few 1/2 day ditchers could easily be spotted hanging around and drinking can after can.  :-)   Revs supported Arizona’s swim and volleyball teams during pep rallies before their away games and long bus trips. If you were on campus later, you probably saw us in one of the 3D cars encouraging students to go home, study and make the most of their education.  After that we snuck up on those 1/2 day ditchers and got keyed-in on where all the after school hang-outs were.

Cold cans of 3D helped all these students remain cool while all of us 3D Revs had a great time participating!  As for what the students had to say? Well lets just say the student body conducted an all out ambush and pretty much overtook our 3D reserves!!  Undoubtedly, next time we’ll make sure to bring more!  Look out for Revs and 3D at a school near you…Here we come!!
