Phoenix Children’s Hospital is one of the ten largest children’s hospital in the country. This Holiday Season 3D took part in the spirit of giving, we recently donated stuffed animals to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We were inspired and amazed at how many gifts filled the room. After donating we acted as Secret Santa’s and walked around the Hospital giving 3D to all the people working hard. Everyone was so thankful : ) Alexandria even put on a show, and sang to everyone in the building! Every year numbers of sick children enter the Hospital and every bit we can give helps. Monday, December 29th, 20083D…Making Fans Dreams Come True
Monday, December 22nd, 2008So I was sampling product one day at the AJ’s Fine Foods location on Lincoln Drive, when I happened to glance over at the energy bar isle and see a familiar face. Being the die hard Phoenix Suns fan that I am, it was hard for me not to wet myself when I realized Steve Nash was standing a mere 10 feet from me. I thought, be cool, be cool, he puts his pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else.
After pondering for quite some time he finally made his selection (a chocolate Cliff bar, nicely done Steve) and began heading my way. As he approached the area where my demo station was located, I gathered myself and uttered, “Would you like to try a delicious and nutritious alternative beverage made from white tea, super fruits, and multi-vitamins Mr. Nash?” Unfortunately, Steve doesn’t drink anything but water on game days. HOWEVER, after chatting him up for a couple of minutes about the product, I asked Mr. Nash if he would mind taking a picture with me. He said yes.
Although I was unsuccessful at sampling 3D to one of my all-time favorite athletes, it was still a good day because I was able to sample a TON of other customers who all were amazed at what a terrific product 3D was. And yes, 3D is a terrific product…. Not only because it tastes ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, but because it helped a young boy fulfill one of his all time dreams. Meeting and chatting it up with two time Most Valuable Player of the NBA Steve Nash. Way to go 3D, way to go…
Old Town Scottsdale
Monday, December 22nd, 2008JD and I headed out to Old Town Scottsdale to spread 3D Christmas cheer to all the holiday shoppers. Everyone was bundled up in their sweaters and jackets since the weather was a bit chilly. However, that did not stop them from trying the refreshing taste of our 3D beverages. The holidays tend to be busy for everyone and it was evident as people swarmed in and out of stores with several bags in each hand. I think it was really uplifting for them to see us handing out drinks so they could take a quick break. The people at Old Town Scottsdale were so friendly and it was great to put smiles on everyone’s faces. We even had the privilege to see several out-of-towners enjoy a sip of 3D and after the first taste they hoped they would be receiving some cases of 3D for Christmas to take back home with them. 3D makes for great holiday presents!!
At One with Yoga and 3D
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008I recently joined At One Yoga for their Holiday Party. The evening was filled with food, shopping, palm readings, henna tattoos, special guest David Romanelli, and of course 3D! Guests were able to bring in non-perishable food items or unwrapped toys for a chance to win Spiritual Gangster Apparel, yoga sessions and much more. Everything in the store was on SALE creating crowds around the booth with people anxiously awaiting to buy the infamous yoga packages. At One Yoga had a stellar turnout and every person had a 3D in hand…..what a way to end a fabulous evening.

Midnight Bounce Madness @ ASU
Monday, December 8th, 2008While ASU students were busy stressing over final exams that are rapidly approaching, many were able to take some time off to hang out at the Midnight Bounce Madness event on ASU’s campus. The event, which took place on 12/6/08 from 10pm-midnight, featured a DJ, pizza, a moon bounce, and best of all, Sophia and I were able to come and add some flavor with 3D drinks for everyone!
Students, weary from a long week of studying, piled out of their dorms to grab some 3D drinks and try out the moon bounce boxing match. Some students even brought the 3D into the boxing ring with them, and we were fortunately able to capture the moment before the battle began. Perhaps they were fighting over who would have the last Mango? Either way, it was fun to see students having a good time while drinking 3D. The biggest fan, however, was probably the DJ. He could not stop raving enthusiasm for the drink, and even offered us to come to more of his events. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the moon bounce ourselves. After drinking a can of our favorite 3D flavors, we hopped in and had some fun of our own. We may have not had a boxing match, but we sure left exhausted. Needless to say, I think everyone got a good night sleep after the 3D madness.
3D for Hunger
Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008On November 26th, team 3D got the chance to work with St. Mary’s Food Bank! It was truly a great experience. The 3D team split into 2: some made holiday food boxes and some handed out free cool cans of 3D to passing cars, picking up or dropping off food. The experience was very beautiful because it was not just about donating a turkey for a less fortunate family or packing food boxes, it was about giving back to our home, our community Arizona.
First we all gathered together with the head of the St. Mary’s Food Bank to hear what the organization was all about. Their mission statement, “To promote the elimination of hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency through advocacy and education”, really hit home to the volunteers of the 3D team and when we got assigned our jobs, we worked like mad men! It was funny to see people that you work with work so hard. The group was compiled of people of many ages and places in their lives, yet it was such a equal and humbling experience.
The group that I was in was the group that handed out free, cool cans of 3D to whoever wanted one (which was everyone
). The people that accepted 3D were always sweet, kind, thankful people. It was all love, which was really beautiful to see. One woman asked us for a can and we gladly handed her two for the road home and she kindly responded with “God Bless You”. Our group was met with such kindness and thankfulness and things like “you guys make this great” and “THANK YOU!” shouted out of windows. This 3D experience was one of the best experiences not only for team 3D, but also for me and the other individuals who worked so hard at St Mary’s.
3D Lights Up the Zoo – Zoo Lights
Monday, December 1st, 2008We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant event to attend. Children laughing, Christmas music playing, lights glowing…there truly was a magic in the air. 3D only added to the festivities. We arrived and packed our bags full of goodies and headed on up to the entrance of the Zoo where we were greeted by a plethora of patrons who were in the Christmas spirit! Needless to say as we dispersed of the 3D we felt a little like St. Nick and his helpers.
The 3D was going fast so we decided to slow it down a bit and sing Christmas carols with a group of passerbys. They were delighted to have us chime in and needless to say at the end of our caroling everyone was a little thirsty. We decided to share our 3D with the carolers and they were absolutely blown away with how refreshing it was! One little guy even gave up his hot chocolate to sip on some green apple. All in all, it was a FABULOUS event to have been apart of and we look forward to making it back out before the holiday season ends. Keep your eyes peeled for us, and from our 3D family to you, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
