Bashas

On Saturday, the 3D Team joined Bashas’ for their farmer’s market which showcased local products and fresh food. Everyone who attended received a Bashas’ bumper sticker, an “I Support Bashas’ ” t-shirt, and plenty of free samples. The event featured fresh food, flowers, and our own 3D beverages. Our team brought out the “build your own four-packs,” allowing customers to create their own multi-packs based off of their favorite flavors. Lucky for us, the first two people to try 3D were Mr. Ike and Eddie Basha!

Since Revolution 3D was born in Phoenix, it’s always nice to support other companies that got their start here too. Bashas’ opened their first store in Arizona in 1932, over 77 years ago. Since that time, Bashas’ has opened over 100 stores and continues to donate their time and financial contributions to the local community.

It just didn’t seem right to have Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure without some 3D Pink Grapefruit present, so Jason and I took matters into our own hands and decided to spread the pink grapefruit love! The van was well-stocked with pink grapefruit as we headed over to downtown Phoenix. We thought we would have a more difficult time getting into the race, but the thirsty walkers practically invited us in! With pink shirts, capes, boas, and hats all around us, the 3D Pink Grapefruit served as the perfect accessory!

Check out Christine Watson from Revolution 3D  in the “Be Fashionably Pink” Fashion Show at Phoenix Fashion Week.  Sponsored by Dillard’s and benefiting Susan G. Komen, each designer featured an outfit inspired by the color pink. All the models who starred in the show were celebrities and cancer survivors. After the show, pink outfits were auctioned and all of the proceeds were donated to the local Susan G. Komen chapter.

Thursday was the official launch of the new Pink Grapefruit 3D at Phoenix Fashion week, and it was amazing! The day started with an event in the morning for the media where Lorena and I sampled 3D to journalists, reporters, and photographers.

Thursday evening, however, was the highlight of the day. VIP guests of 3D arrived an hour early to get a sneak peak at our 3D Rooftop Party which was fabulous!  With the help of our brand manager Monica, Angelic Grove, a decorating company, made a rooftop into a hotspot. There were pink lights, flower centerpieces, an ice sculpture, and the 3D logo displayed throughout the area. The scene was made complete with sexy furniture, a DJ, and scrumptious appetizers and desserts. Guests of 3D also had a view of the fashion shows from the roof, as well as an up-close-and-personal view through the live feed that was projected onto the wall of the rooftop!  We definitely had the best seats in the house!!

At the Fashionably Pink Fashion Show, owner David Watson’s wife, Christine Watson, strutted her stuff on the runway. The former model stood not only as a representative of 3D, but also as a breast cancer survivor. 3D concluded the show with a $2,000 check presented to Susan G. Komen, then continued to keep the party going on the rooftop.

Our Pink Grapefruit Party was a special night for the 3D Family. It’s a great feeling to work for a company that doesn’t loose sight of what’s important, and what’s important is that we were all together for an great cause.

Fifty Percent of the net proceeds from the sales of 3D Pink Grapefruit will be donated to Susan G. Komen, the American Cancer Society, and the Breast Cancer Network of Strength.
