Swing. Camp. March.

SwingCamp1

It was a busy weekend for the 3D Team!! Kevin and I started out at the Kids Cafe Open with St. Mary’s Food Bank. We posted up by the cocktails, and sure enough, in no-time golfers started making their own 3D concoctions. The most popular cocktail was 3D Mango and Hammer Vodka. No judgment here! We’re all about finding new and creative ways to drink 3D. (Personally, I’ll throw a splash of 3D Mango in my frozen fruit shakes instead of water.)

Afterwards, Jason and Kelsey grabbed the 3D gear and headed on over to the Relay for Life Walk in Gilbert, AZ. Since 3D Pink Grapefruit donates proceeds to The American Cancer Society, we thought we’d show some love for the campers who decided to donate 24 hours walking for the cause.

On Saturday, we were marching our way across the streets at PRIDE. Well, we probably weren’t really “marching,” but it was really hot and the guests were thrilled to have a cold drink to cool them down.  Hey, if you’re thirsty, then we’re happy to hand ‘em out!

Volunteering for the Holidays

SMFoodBank

For over five decades, St. Mary’s Food Bank has tackled the challenge of easing hunger in Arizona through the vision of founder John van Hengel, and Revolution 3D is all about supporting their cause. At least once a month, the team heads over to the first food bank and volunteers, packing boxes for hungry families in Arizona. During the holidays, St. Mary’s needed even more hands on deck, so Revolution was happy to help. In our more casual clothes, we stood in an assembly line sorting through cans of food and filling boxes. Volunteering each month is just our way of helping St. Mary’s provide more than 300,000 meals each day to people who otherwise would go hungry.

Golfers Experiment with 3D Martinis

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

St. Mary Food Bank held a golf tournament this past weekend at Wigwam Golf Course. The event was a huge success and 3D was happy to be a part of it. Revs were located at the “Hydration Station” where the golf courses cross over. St. Mary’s was offering free Bloody Mary’s next to us, which led to some interesting experiments with 3D. Golfers, whom didn’t prefer a Bloody Mary took a 3D Pomegranate or Green Apple and asked to mix it with some alcohol. Everyone really enjoyed it and had a great time! Who would have thought!?
